MusicSA is excited to announce Scouted is back for 2024!
Expressions of Interest are officially open and early bird tickets are on sale via Moshtix, so mark your calendars for Friday 2 August. Scouted will take place across two of the City’s quintessential West End venues: Jive and Nexus Arts!

The Scouted showcase coincides with the Australian Independent Record Labels Association’s annual Indie-Con Australia conference, held here in Adelaide on Kaurna Yerta, Australia’s UNESCO designated City of Music.
The 2024 Indie-Con Australia conference will take place at The Mercury Cinema Wednesday 31 July until Friday 2 August. It will be attended by key national industry members as they convene to discuss insights into the latest innovations and technological advancements in products, services and strategies in the contemporary music industry.

Early Bird – $179 (regular price for non-members $249)
After 1 July 24 – $239 (regular price for non-members $299)
The three-day conference will culminate with Scouted, an opportunity for select local unsigned* artists to perform in front of national industry; including indie record labels and management reps from the Eastern seaboard.
*Scouted is an opportunity for artists that have not signed a contract with a major publishing or major/large indie label deal. Artists may have management and/or a booking agent.

Scouted boasts the opportunity for artists to flex their networking muscle and make career-defining connections. Scouted is a paid opportunity for all participating artists. Not only this, but Scouted artists will also receive industry development training on showcasing from MusicSA, assistance in developing an EPK, match-made networking opportunities with relevant Indie-Con delegates and one complimentary delegate pass per selected act to attend the Indie-Con Australia Conference AND 2024 AIR Awards.
Artists will be required to attend a Scouted networking event, 4:30pm – 5:30pm on the day of Scouted, and a preparation session with Music SA and the other selected acts on Wednesday July 10 between 3-7pm (one member only needs attend).
Please note that the Indie-Con Australia Conference AND 2024 AIR Awards are 18+ only events. However, if you’re under 18 and believe you are ready to perform at Scouted, we still want to hear from you.
