– The Easter long weekend is coming up, and that means it’s nearly time for BLENHEIM MUSIC AND CAMPING FESTIVALl. Featuring exciting touring headliners SASKWATCH and THE WOOHOO REVUE, the popular Clare Valley festival also hosts a huge list of local legends including THE TIMBERS, IRIE KNIGHTS, MAX SAVAGE & THE FALSE IDOLS, GOD GOD DAMMIT DAMMIT and heaps more. The organisers have said that they aimed for a lineup of acts that would get people moving even if they’d never seen the band before. Looking at the list, it’s easy to say they’ve accomplished that! There’s only a handful of tickets remaining though, and only one day before the festival, so be quick if you’re keen. More info here.

– If you do head to BlenheimFest, make sure you catch local beatsmith HOW GREEN. He’s been turning more than a few heads after launching his debut EP recently. And if you’re a fan of electronic music and analog listening methods, his record label have a handful of hand-made cassettes containing the EP remaining. Check out the sweet artwork here.

– A couple of new film clips this week, seeing the first clip from CABIN CULTS, for their tune 2 Steps, as well as the psychedelic clip for URTEKK‘s Patterns, the first of three clips for their DM3 Project. Expect the next two in the coming months.

– Fellow PILOT RECORDS artists NO BIRDS and QUESTION QUESTION will be performing live on Soundpond next Monday, April 21, along with DJ sets from ODDESSA and other Pilot friends. Head to Soundpond.net from 6pm on Monday to watch the six-hour extravaganza. If you’re in need of something to see in-person though, check out this week’sgig guide.
