Music SA is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and take that next step in their music industry career.

We are now seeking applicants for a 12 month PAID internship on a permanent part-time basis.

This opportunity has arisen thanks to the generosity of philanthropist Peter Hanlon, the Chair of the South Australian Film Corporation and an active independent filmmaker with Living Not Beige Films (https://www.livingnotbeigefilms.com/). Peter Hanlon has a desire to help develop the South Australian contemporary music scene and wants to see a state full of life and spirit that retains its young people through job creation.

The Music SA Intern will have a hands on role in our office, assisting with many exciting projects including our Live Music Census, professional development workshops, SA Music Awards, Umbrella Winter City Sounds and more. The successful applicant will be involved in marketing, event management, including some work with databases and administration across each of our projects.

The intern can undertake a Certificate IV in the Music Industry, attending 2 days a week during semesters (this is optional). The tuition cost is paid by Music SA, so this is great value for someone with ambitions to gain both experience and knowledge and pursue their dreams in the music industry.

If you have the commitment, enthusiasm and energy to be part of the team at Music SA, download the Music SA Intern Position Description (PDF) and submit your application to industry@musicsa.com.au with the word “Intern” in the subject line. Applications close 1st March 2019.
