Calling all Flinders, University of Adelaide, and Uni SA students! Are you in a band? Why not register for the National Campus Band Competition 2015?
This annual Australian national event produced by the Australian Association of Campus Activities first started all the way back in 1983 when various campus activities officers noted that bands had nowhere on campus to play. By 1990, the competition went national.
After local heats, the finalists will compete at Uni NSW – last year the overall winner received $5000!
Adelaide Uni’s heats run from 11-13 August 2015, Flinders’ heats are on 14 August, and Uni SA’s will be Wednesday 26 & Thursday 27 August.
To enter the competition, one band member must be enrolled at a participating university, and you can register online now.
