Sounds Australia presents “Insights into International Genre Events” in partnership with Music SA, Musitec and the Music Development Office.

Sounds Australia will be in Adelaide presenting an evening of insights into the many genre events that are now available through out the year.

From jazz, classical and world music to folk, Americana and all of the dance genres in between, genre events are becoming more popular for Australians looking to export internationally.

Sounds Australia will be joined by artists and industry who have used these events regularly and effectively to give an insight into the ins and outs of genre specific conferences: Folk Alliance International, Americana, Jazzahead, Classical: NEXT, WOMEX and Amsterdam Dance Event. The panel will cover the makeup of these international conferences, discuss when is the right time to attend and how to get the most out of them once you’re there.

Music SA will also be coordinating one on one meetings with Sounds Australia representatives the following day from 10am to 5pm for artists and managers looking to attend an international conference in the next 12 months.
