The Adelaide Music Collective has been thoughtfully caretaking the SA Music Hall of Fame collection for awhile now, and it has been gracing the walls (or should that be halls?) of the Goodwood Institute.
Now it’s found a new home in the heart of the SA music hub. The 11th December sees the exhibition open in its own special room within St Paul’s Creative Centre, which also hosts Music SA, the Music Development Office, Musitec, Musica Viva and more.
Featuring memorabilia from South Australian acts collected over the decades, the AMC’s SA Music Hall of Fame is certainly a special archive. It has also been inducting new members regularly as part of the AMC’s Live Sessions.
After the launch, the collection will be open to the public Monday through Friday 9-5 and will be free to enter and view.
An official opening will be an invite-only event on December 11th, and accompanied by the induction ceremony of Julie Anthony AM OBE, as well as the launch of the Yesterday’s Heroes album AND documentary.
