“One show only!” Now that better motivate you to get on over to Fringetix quicksmart.

Folk Sessions with Luke Marshall & Luke Hueppauff is bound to be a delightful and intimate performance at the Grace Emily Hotel, featuring original songs about “love, loss, journeys and change.”

Perhaps a lot like this one?

Taking inspiration from such artists as City and Colour, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Ry X, Luke Marshall has just released his debut EP ‘Forest by the Sea’, and you can often catch him performing around the CBD.

The two Lukes have already played the Adelaide Night Market at the Fringe (click for a ‘lil vid of it) during the night of the Opening Parade, so they’re off to a good start. Before you know it, it will be finished, with a single FRUSIC show on 24 February.

As for what to expect at the performance, Luke (Marshall) explains “As a musician I am trying to create beautiful music that can be heard and shared by people looking for a change of space. The show is all about creating an environment where the audience can ‘feel’ connected with the art. I want them to drift to a reflective and provoking state of mind.”

“Music is so much more than just sounds and words, it’s an energy that is shared by the performer and audience, it’s something beautiful and present.”

A lovely night awaits then! Be present and be a part of it.
