What’s better than one show during the Fringe? Two different shows!

Adelaide singer Bonnie Lee Galea will have her hands full as she takes on some of the great classics in her shows Bessie * Billie * Dinah and “You Must Remember This.”

Bonnie-Bessie-FrusicThree nights will find her at the Tin Cat Cafe, delving into the darker side of some of her heroes.

Stars with short tragic lives is not a modern phenomenon, as Bonnie explores the “misspent youth”, addictions and transgressions of some classic divas, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington”.

These ladies weren’t considered blues royalty for nothing.

Full of glamour, the show pays tribute to Hollywood‘s golden era with a big selection of sing-along hits.

She has a great team of musicians to help create a rich and full sound, featuring The Beggars’ Quinton Dunne on supporting vox & double bass.

Along with brass (trumpet – Warren Heading, saxophone – Peter Raidel), keys (Dave McEvoy), drums (Yuri Markov & Steve Todd covering the season between them), and special guests Leo Capurso & Mary Jeffries, this ensemble is sure to swing.

Making the most of the moment Bonnie & band will also present the show as part of the Salisbury Secret Garden. Get your glam on!
