Just a reminder that the charming ‘Meeting Hall’ behind Adelaide Town Hall is available – free – on Monday nights as a rehearsal space.

Built in 1862, it has quality acoustics, an inbuilt stage and PA system, and is being offered to emerging acts from 5:30-8:30pm on Monday evenings. Both intimate and spacious, it also provides an ideal setting for low fi gigs, intimate theatre performances and presentations.

You must reserve your spot, so visit the Venue Office, Adelaide Town Hall, 128 King William Street or contact townhall@adelaidecitycouncil.com  | (08) 8203 7590 to take advantage of this new opportunity.

Another new opportunity launched recently as part of the Adelaide City Council’s Live Music Action Plan is the “paste up project” poster wall, free space for your posters on the side of the Exeter Hotel (246-248 Rundle St).

You don’t need permission – the space will take on a life of its own, and is hoped to “offer a continuous flow of updated art promotion in the area.”
