Two new exhibitions of music photography are opening soon in Adelaide. Firstly, on Thursday 27 of November, award-winning live music venue The Gov hosts “Captured Sound” featuring the work of 9 photogs: Alex Kwong, Melissa Donato, Jennifer Sando, Ben Searcy, Dave Birch, Andreas Heuer, Stephen Von Der Borch, Harley Cunningham and Peter Thurmer (aka Peter Tea).
Running from 6-8pm, the event also celebrates the launch of Deep South Fest, and includes a performance by Gabrielle Hyde.
On December 4th, Peter T returns with more work at the “Women in Music Pt 1” exhibition.
Borne of his respect and admiration for female musicians, he presents a small collection of his documentation of the art form at the Wheatsheaf from 6pm.
