Adelaide’s music community is in for a treat with a private Scholarship announced today. Local musician’s this April will go into the running to win an all expenses paid opportunity to work with International Vocal Coach Dave Stroud (Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift etc), Adelaide Vocal Health Expert Tania Savelli and Award Winning Songwriter Kelly Brouhaha.

The scholarship funded by local businesses Revolution Vocal Studio and The Barefoot Musician will empower young singers and musicians to develop their vocals to an international standard, learn what it takes to manage their own career and receive one on one mentoring – giving young musician’s the edge they need to make an impact in the music industry.

With an all expenses paid trip to Melbourne to attend the Vocalize U Artist Intensive, private sessions, recording and performance opportunities offered – this is an exciting time for Adelaide’s emerging musicians.

Along with local government getting behind its creative center, Adelaide’s recent selection as a UNESCO recognized city of music and the opportunities provided by a number of Adelaide businesses such as Music SA and The Music Development Office – its safe to say the city of churches is producing and supporting some of the best live music this country has to offer.
