Music SA and APRA | AMCOS present Breaking Out of The Nest – the next masterclass in a series of professional development forums aimed at tooling up South Australian musicians and industry practitioners.

Chaired by Jett Heyson-Hicks (previous Music SA board member and touring musician – Tracer), the forum features local and national practitioners who can offer an insight into the world of touring:

- Dan Crannitch (local venue booker – 5/4 Entertainment and touring musician)
- Sue Germein (artist manager – The Germein Sisters)
- Trials (touring musician – The Funkoars)
Breaking Out of The Nest will focus on topics such as: How to approach an agent? What is it that they are they looking for? Can the artist/agent relationship work without a manager? How best to route a tour? When should I tour? What is the right venue for where the band is in their career? Local supports and how they’re booked. National supports and how to get one. Where you did you discover your acts?
The event will be catered and Music SA is offering a door prize for one lucky attendees.
