After two highly successful years, The Robert Stigwood Fellowship will run its third year in 2017 incorporating South Australia’s best artists and industry entrepreneurs.

Named after Adelaide expat Robert Stigwood, the program provides professional development and global connections in the commercial music industry focusing on accelerating skills, knowledge and career advancement.

The program has so far led to seven of Adelaide’s best artists being showcased at the world-renowned Great Escape Festival in the UK including last year’s acts SKIES and Grenadiers.

One of the first year’s fellows, Tkay Maidza, was nominated for Best New International Act in the 2016 American BET awards in a field of other highly acclaimed female artists such as Beyonce, Rhinanna and Adele.

This year’s fellows will receive similar opportunities including tailored funding and mentorship from high level industry professionals, song writing, production, marketing and publicity, development of business skills and attendance at conferences including high level industry meetings.
