MusicSA is excited to present four upcoming industry development workshops for the remainder of 2024.
We’re facilitating workshops on topics you’ve asked for through feedback and at our twice-yearly Sound Check sessions, and workshops on topics we’ve identified as gaps in industry knowledge for locals.
INTERNATIONAL TOURING 101
Wednesday the 20th of November from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Carclew at 1 Jeffcott St, North Adelaide, Kaurna Land.
This session will focus on the ins and outs of touring internationally, with a particular emphasis on touring in the EU/UK and the US. This workshop aims to equip artists with the knowledge and tools necessary for successful and smooth international touring experiences. Guest speakers are Jordan Tito (Tour Manager of Teenage Joans) and Kaurna Cronin.
2024 SOUNDCHECK & MUSICSA XMAS DRINKS
Tuesday the 26th of November from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Jive at 181 Hindley St, Adelaide, Kaurna Land.
Join the Music SA team for our final Soundcheck session of the year. This will be an opportunity to talk through MusicSA’s work in 2024, and what is in the works for 2025.
You will hear from the Industry Development team about the projects that will be running in 2025, and most importantly it will be a time for you as the South Australian Music Industry to share what is important to you for the coming year.
After the panel discussion there will be a Q&A – we will meet you at the bar for chats and networking as we celebrate the beginning of the festive season!
