Thursday, March 31, Old Exchange, FREE ENTRY! The final night of our Old Exchange mini-residency. Two nights over two weeks is not a residency, you say? You're right - it's a mini-residency, so our advertising is not false or misleading in the slightest. We cleared it with our lawyer (or at least, with a guy who hangs out in front of the courts) and it all checks out, so get out of our grillz, yo.

Saturday, April 9, Rip-a-Thon Skate Competition - Adelaide Shores Skate Park, FREE ENTRY! Pimpin' Horus play at Rip-a-thon, a skate comp organised as part of National Youth Week. Rego is from 10:30, the comp kicks off at 12, and the Pimps round off the day while the judges render their decisions around 3pm!

“Is that a pyramid in your pants, or the new CD from Pimpin’ Horus?”

Pimpin’ Horus play funk-rock music, inspired by the likes of Hendrix, The Meters, P-Funk, the Chili Peppers and the Cruel Sea.

Since 2008, they have played festivals, won “Best Live Video” in a national competition, and played multiple partnership events and secured ongoing sponsorship from premium beverage companies.

They have received airplay in various States and toured throughout Australia on the back of their EPs “Down for the Money” (2009) and “House of Horus” (2010), both of which received solid reviews in several print and online sources.

They will shortly be refuelling the tour van to spread the word a little further in 2011.

"House of Horus is a great example of what an EP should be; short, to the point and full of strong tracks."
           - Alastair Collins, dB Magazine (dB magazine review of House Of Horus)
