In just a couple of years LYLA have managed to release a Demo EP and first single to a sold out crowd at one of Adelaide’s premier live venues. They have also released their second single to a packed Jive Bar, as well as supporting international and Australian touring artists; Dave Larkin (of Dallas Crane), The Checks (NZ), Cloud Control (2010 J-Mag Nominees), Hungry Kids of Hungary, The Exploders and Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!.
This five piece rock and roll band was endorsed by leading Adelaide street press , Rip It Up Magazine, which included them in their ‘Hot 6 bands to watch in 2010’. They have also been handpicked to showcase their music at a number of premier events around Adelaide, including Coopers Alive and the official re-launch of Rip It Up Magazine into the new decade.
The band is extremely excited about the release of their latest EP, ‘Sitting In The Sun’. The response by keyboardist Stefan Krcmarov when asked what to expect from the new record – “It’s going to be fucking huge!” ‘Sitting In The Sun’ is out now.

Lyla will be playing at Elizapalooza, the annual music festival that celebrates musical debauchery in the north of Adelaide. Northern Sound System will be hosting this fine event on the 15th of January, kicking off at 1pm and going all the way through till 11pm.
