When two people love each other very much, they give each other a very special hug, and 9 months or so later, out pops...a very special CD! Indie/Electro/Art/Pop duo Radio Spectacular!!! are very excited to announce the arrival of a new special someone in their lives: their new EP Sugar Baby, Honey Child.

Featuring a remastered version of 'You Light Me Up', the song that saw Radio Spectacular!!! beamed into the houses of millions around the country, the new release also contains a bunch of new tracks that cover all sorts of Pop traditions – from the joyous to the simplistic, from '80s influenced synth-pop to the epic Space-Rock ender 'Mirror Mountain'.

Each CD comes packaged with five high-quality prints of photos taken by vocalist Phebe Rendulic. The five photos are randomly selected from a pool of 12 specially chosen by Phebe for the project. In a limited run of 500 CDs, this means that no two packages are alike!

The band is giving away free digital copies of the new single '1000 Colours' from their website in preparation for the launch party, which will be held at Rocket Bar on Friday August 27, with special pre-order packages available from the band’s website a few weeks prior.

“It’s goanna be a 1000 Colours Party! Dress in as many colours as you can and come celebrate with us!”

Radio Spectacular!!! began with a chance meeting on MySpace five years ago which led to Harry moving down from Bundaberg, Queensland to Adelaide to be with Phebe. Their journey together so far has seen them share the stage with friends such as Uni & Her Ukelele [USA], That 1 Guy [USA], Kid Confucius [NSW], The Blow Waves [VIC] and local favourites Lovers Electric, The Touch, Neon Electric, We Grow Up and more. The band records all their material in their spare-room studio, and in 2009 their song You Light Me Up was chosen to represent Canon's IXUS cameras in a national television ad campaign, blasting Radio Spectacular!!! into the homes of millions during popular prime‐time TV shows.

The creation of Sugar Baby, Honey Child has been assisted by the South Australian Government through Carclew Youth Arts Board.
