The Brian May Scholarship For Film Composers Is Open
The Brian May Scholarship provides financial assistance to promising Australian film composers to study film scoring at a world leading education facility.
The prestigious Scholarship was established under the Will of the late Brian May, Australia's leading film composer, who passed away on April 25, 1997. Brian May was passionate about supporting and promoting the art of film composition in Australia.
The 2010 - 2011 scholarship is now open, offering an enrolment for a two year Master of Music in Composition – Scoring for Film and Miltimedia at NYU Steinhardt in New York City for the 2010 - 2011 academic years.
