On Wednesday 22nd October 2008 AusmusicSA will host its annual Music Quiz Night at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel to raise valuable funds to support Ausmusic SA's contemporary music programs in disadvantaged schools.
With over $10,000 in prizes and auction items, including tickets to major festivals & concerts, band merchandise, CDs and music equipment, the night is sure to be a sell-out event.
For many kids in SA, music is a welcome escape from the trials of the day to day world, however for those less fortunate, the cost of instruments, tuition and trainig can be well beyond their reach.
AusmusicSA is proud to assist these young people by delivering quality music programs through disadvantaged schools, as they have done successfully for the past 11 years. These programs provide opportunities that can be the inspiration to get kids to stay in school and realise their potential for a career in the music industry.
At $12 per person, you can score yourself a table at the Quiz night by gathering a team of 8 - 10 of your closest allies. Drinks are available at the bar, and you can also purchase The Gov's famous wood oven pizzas as pre-ordered platters.
Adelaide's number one comedian and radio Nova personality Jason Chong will host this magical evening of fun and laughter, so what are you waiting for? Book a table, put on your thinking caps and battle it out against the best in the biz.
