Local Artist Headlines & More * 18 APRIL 2012

The Bakers spent the second half of February recording in Coffs Harbour, NSW. In preparation for their first single launch in July 2012 they will be recording their debut film clip on Friday 27th April at The Wheatsheaf. In what is set to be a raucous affair, The Eastern, The Timbers and The Bakers Digest will be sharing their equal love for scotch and rum fueled parties.

Filming the show will be the talented guys from Optic Factory Productions who have recently been involved with the 6 On The Street project, which is nominated for two gongs at the South Australian Screen Awards. The Bakers Digest are continually producing music and live shows inspired by their icons of 60s and 70s. In what is fast becoming a regional arts success story – come join in the folk n’ roll revival this April.

Drinks packages are available, plus there's a transport option to bus you from and back to the CBD. Too easy. Check out VenueTix for tickets, and for more information see the Facebook Event >>

  • endorsements abound for adelaide acts
Congrats to the two local acts who have scored endorsements from some pretty special sources of late. Progressive rock soloist Projected Twin, who is currently on tour in the USA, is excited to be endorsed by Lauda Guitars (see the photo here >>), while Australian based clothing line 'MYBROTHERSKEEPER' have just signed over an endorsement deal with metal band Arcadia. The clothing label (originally based in Sydney) has recently branched out to Adelaide, and in their short time in the city have stumbled across the band. Arcadia frontman Tim Giddings comments: 'It's great to be noticed by this brand, we've seen their line of clothing before, and for them to endorse us is a great feeling. This is hopefully the first of many companies whose attention we've grabbed.' Have a squiz at their pic too >>
